The ‘Liberty’ subject has surfaced throughout Dove & White’s history with many variations both in two and three dimensions. The abstraction of the statue is a hybrid image which transfers the power of the Statue Of Liberty to a repeated formal structure in Red, White and Blue metallic foils.
Inversely, the larger chromium – plated LIBERTY expands these abstractions into a more austere form.
